Terms and Conditions for the use of an ECE Registration account

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to the services offered by the European Society of Endocrinology (hereinafter referred to as “ESE”) to users of an ECE Registration account (hereinafter referred to as "Users").

ESE provides an online portal enabling users to register for the European Congress of Endocrinology (ECE) and other ESE events, submit abstracts for ECE, submit ESE grant applications, access the virtual meeting and ESE WebApp.

The online portal can be accessed via the website www.eseondemand.org

2. Use of ECE Registration

If the user intends to access ECE Registration, an email address, complete name and a password of his / her choice must be recorded in the portal. The user is responsible to keep his / her access data secure to prevent misuse. The data listed above is mandatory, further personal data is voluntary.

Creating and using an ECE Registration account is available to ESE members, ECE and other ESE event delegates, and guess users.  Setting up an ECE Registration account is free of charge.

3. Termination

When the user no longer intends to use ECE Registration, a letter or email can be sent to info@euro-endo.org.  The account will then be deleted once the legal data storage period has passed.

ESE reserves the right to block an account should improper, fraudulent usage take place of the ECE Registration account.

4. Data protection

User data will be processed in accordance to valid data protection laws and ESE’s Privacy Policy which can be accessed here.

The data base of ECE Registration is operated by JMarquardt Technologies GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "JMT"). The appropriate data processing agreement has been concluded.
